Flourish – town centre parade

Nothing kicks off the Basingstoke Festival quite like the opening parade and this year Fluid Motion Theatre is taking on the mantel to make sure it all goes off with a bang.  Join in the celebrations and soak up the party atmosphere from 5.30pm at the Top of Town, then follow the parade route down to the Amphitheatre for our big finale: the family friendly “positivity rave”.

The parade theme is ‘Flourish’. Schools and community groups across the borough have been exploring what gives them a happy brain by working together in creative workshops to make colourful parade items and objects that celebrate how the arts can make you feel good.

Meet at Cross Street at 5.30pm to follow the fun!
