Out of the Deep Blue

OᑌT Oᖴ TᕼE ᗪEEᑭ ᗷᒪᑌE is an outdoor physical theatre performance featuring a largescale Sea Giant Puppet operated by 5 puppeteers and a female contemporary dancer, inspired by the themes of the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis.

This spectacle is designed specifically for family and festival audiences and tells the magical story of EKO the sea giant who rises from the deep ocean and encounters, on the shore, a little girl called ᐯIOᒪET.

The choreography is a larger-than-life ‘pas de deux’ using dance theatre and movement as storytelling tools and is set to a mesmerising musical soundscape.

See EKO in action!
