Fluid Motion and Zoielogic

from February 2021

Anything you want to get rid of? (working title)

We have asked Fluid Motion Theatre Company to make a dance theatre show about Basingstoke and they need your help. Why? Because they want to create it with local residents.

The piece will be inspired by your stories, ideas and experiences of the past year, what you’ve done to keep well and how you’ve all supported each other. So, we’re looking for Basingstoke residents (18+) to join our online community panel and be a vital part of the creative team.

You’ll be given exclusive access to rehearsals and the creative process as they put the show together in time for the summer, where it will be performed outdoors at Basingstoke Festival on Saturday 3 July 2021. They’ll be asking you questions along the way and listening to your ideas and suggestions. Everything will be shared and discussed via a WhatsApp group, so you can join in the chat, watch and share your feedback remotely.

They’re working alongside the wonderful Zoie Logic Dance Theatre and Dance Phaze, so if you know their work you know it’s going to be epic!

We think this is a really exciting opportunity to co-create a performance with local audiences, if you agree and would like to be involved then fill in the form below and they’ll be in touch!
