The Basingstoke Festival gets off to a high octane start outside the Willis Museum where Dick Danger and L_ove Hangman are set to wow the crowds. There’s traditional favourites like Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, to the contemporary in the critically acclaimed ‘Juglife’ and everything from Ballroom and Ballet to Live music too.
Week two of the Basingstoke Festival sees the arrival of a ‘Flashmob’ in Festival Place, there’s the BATS 60th Anniversary and Blood Brothers for Theatre fans. Create your own Microbiome in the Proteus Creation Space and there’s the annual Cheese and Chilli Festival in War Memorial Park for local ‘Foodies’ to enjoy.
The final week of the Basingstoke Festival will be too good to miss, War Memorial Park will host the Pictures In The Park series, crowds are set to enjoy Grease and Dirty Dancing as well as 2017 blockbuster The Greatest Showman. The inaugural B LOVE music festival will welcome international headliners Wilkinson and Reef.
