Performances will take place in front of the Willis Museum
Sunday 2 July
12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm
In this interactive show everyone is welcome to come and meet The Thornycroft Girls.
Milly and Tilly work in the Thornycroft factory in Basingstoke, helping to create the vehicles the company is famous for. The men have gone off to war and women have realised that they have the power to become chefs, farmers, plumbers, train drivers and mechanics.
Milly and Tilly will be outside the Willis Museum showing off a custom made vintage car which they’re working on. Come along and help them to put it together.
In collaboration with James Lewis of Tin Shed Scenery.
